The day I witnessed a robbery .

For the first time in my life on Saturday ,12th June 2010 ,I witnessed an armed robbery`which took place right infront of my house in Klang . Worst still the victim was my own daughter . On 12th.June 2010 evening my daughter , Dr.Eileen Farhana left our house in Klang to attend her friend's wedding in Petaling Jaya . She drove her brand new Honda City car BKU 8080 which she took delivery just about two weeks earlier .

At about 11.45 pm. she reached home and was just about to enter the gate of our house ,suddenly two Malay youths on a motor cycle without safety helmets on them and armed with a parang approached the right hand side of her car and smashed the driver's side window glass screen and demanded my daughter surrender her handbag . Infact she was about to hand over her handbag but she could reached for it as it was under the pasenger's seat on her left . I was in my bedroom on the first floor of the house facing the front , heard a loud bang and the cries from my daughter . I opened the upstairs door which directly faced the road and saw the two youths smashing the window screen of my daughter's car . I shouted for them to stop but they just ignored my shouts and continued the smashing . By then two cars stopped but the occupants did not do any thing to help . I guess they were too afraid to do any thing . After about 5 minutes the criminals left without getting anything . But after a short distance they made a U turn and came back to my daughter's car again and continued with the smashing even harder . The window screen did not easily break down because it was fitted with an anti theft film . Again I shouted for help and later I came down to the gate . The criminals left without getting a single sen .

I then called for the Police Radio car to come to whom my daughter later lodged a Police report . My daughter was slightly hurt on her face as a resulut of a cut by the glass window that broke down . My son Azman then sent her to the Hospital . Later I sent her to the District Police HQ to have statement recorded by the Inspector .
What made me angry with the Police was their ' tidak apa ' attitude . They did not seem to be interested in solving the case . The investigation was a slip shot one . No effort were made to view the video camera of my neighbour despite being told that those criminals could have been cought on the camera . No wonder the rate of crimes are on the increase in my neighbour hood .The radio cars are also not seen patrolling our area although the government had recently increased the number of the radio cars in the district . Each day public confidence on the Police are deteriorating .
For no valid reason my daughter had to fork out RM 750.00 for repair to her new car .
